WINNER: IPU Wins AMPS Member Company of the Year Award
IPU are thrilled to have won this year’s AMPS Member Company of the Year Award!
IPU’s contingent arrived at the National Motorcycle Museum dressed to the nines, ready to celebrate the hard work and exceptional talent within the power gen industry.
Attended by over 170 people, the awards, which took place on Thursday 16th November, featured 7 awards. They included Environmental Product of the Year, for which IPU’s Emissions Reduction System was shortlisted, and AMPS Member Company of the Year, which we were honoured to win!
According to AMPS, we took home the prize for:
“their longstanding industry relationship, innovative contributions, and extensive educational efforts. Their role in advancing AMPS objectives and dedication to sustainable solutions have set them apart as industry leaders.”
IPU’s submission this year covered our longstanding connection with AMPS, our commitment to educating the market and producing products to be proud of.
IPU design and manufacture a wide range of products to support the power generation industry and beyond.
IPU’s Fuel Polishers are award-winning and recent innovations, through our EKO with Kapture Technology panel, filled a gap in our customers’ market, many of which are AMPS members. This, combined with our site-based offerings, including Fuel Cleaning, OFTEC and DSEAR Inspections and installations, keeps the industry’s fuel clean and dry.
Our Emissions Reduction technology has been chosen for big projects in the UK and beyond due to its clever technology and high build quality. Our SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems are designed to reduce NOx output by up to 98%, which is essential in sensitive areas, such as Clean Air Zones.
We are UK Premier distributors for huge global brands, including Enovation Controls and Parker Racor, Donaldson and Baldwin Filtration, ensuring the reliability and resilience of equipment all across the UK.
Our custom non-electric starting systems are world-renowned, specified by global companies such as BP and Exxon-Mobil. Not bad for an SME from West Bromwich! Whilst many of these systems end up in the Far East, others are installed in the depths of basements deep under the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf. Our systems are designed to sit for many years unused, and being often connected to Fire Pumps – we hope they never are.
We are servicing the Power Gen market all across the UK (and beyond) with products to be proud of.
