IPU’s COVID-19 Response

IPU Group Ltd. continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Global pandemic and the health and safety of our employees, families, customers and suppliers remain our highest priority.

Our Business Continuity plan has allowed us to remain open and operational in what is an extremely challenging time with official guidance being updated on a regular basis and we remain committed to ensuring we continue to offer full support to our customers across all areas taking into consideration the advice issued by the UK Government and other relevant Health Authorities.

We have completed a specific COVID-19 Risk Assessment for those still working in our West Midlands facility, and you can download the PDF on this page.

Whilst we have taken measures to reduce the level of employees within our West Midlands facility, we want to reassure all our partners that we understand our obligations within the power industry and the critical nature of our products and services.

We are also working tirelessly with our supply chain, both domestic and international, to ensure any disruption during this pandemic is minimal. Where possible, we would encourage our customers to provide forecasts for your short term or immediate requirements to assist us in planning and continuity of supply.

As we maneuver our way through this continuously changing situation, it may be that you experience some small delays in our response to you, or your enquiry is handled without your usual point of contact, however you should continue to expect the professional service standards that we at IPU are proud of.

Our team remains fully committed to our purpose and our large facility allows us to maintain our production and distribution activities whilst observing all the social distancing guidelines currently in place.

The Fuel Cleartank teams have full PPE at their disposal for site attendance and are currently supporting various NHS HospitalsBanks and Data Centres ensuring they have back-up generator stability.
