IPU is business as usual
IPU are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the health and safety of our staff members, families, customers and suppliers remain the highest priority.
We wanted to let you know that for us, it is business as usual.
Our management team is monitoring the situation closely and our robust business continuity plan will assist us in navigating this difficult time.
We have deployed a large number of our office-based staff to work remotely, to minimise the risk to our key operational staff, including our workshop and stores teams.
We have a wide variety of technologies at our disposal to ensure we can continue to offer an uninterrupted service.
We are in regular contact with our suppliers, and by minimising interaction with our workshop and stores team we should see little disruption to production and order fulfilment.
For our external sales teams, visits and face-to-face meetings have been put on hold, until government advice tells us otherwise.
As with other businesses across the nation, we take this situation extremely seriously and every business decision we make is to ensure the continuity of the service you expect from us.
Because of an increase in those working from home, we are closely monitoring what impact the additional strain may have on the National Grid. Now more than ever, we need to protect our critical power applications, to ensure the UK stays online.
Our Fuel Cleartank Team are still operational and ensuring that standby generators are protected by having clean fuel in their tanks!
If you have concerns about your backup power supply, or if you would like more information on how to maintain and protect it, please get in touch. You can call us on +44 (0) 121 511 0400 or email us at ipu@ipu.co.uk.
We hope you, your teams, and your families are well.
