Robert Beebee Presented with AMPS Award

The 2013 AMPS conference was held at One Great George Street in the heart of Westminster.  This annual event is an opportunity for members of AMPS (the Association of Manufacturers and suppliers of Power Systems and ancillary equipment) to network and keep abreast of the latest developments in the UK power generation industry.

With this year’s event being sponsored by the IPU Fuel Conditioning division, generating great interest in the divisions range of diesel fuel polishing systems and IPU Managing Director Robert Beebee becoming AMPS Chairman, it was a wonderful surprise when Robert was also chosen to the receive an award for his lifetimes work inside the industry; voted for by the AMPS members.

The presentation was made by Gerald Parkinson, former AMPS company secretary, and he cited the work that Robert has done, with others, over the years for the organisation of the association, helping to steer AMPS to its current position.
