Biggest single order in IPU Engine Starting history

March has been a non-stop month for IPU after we secured our largest single engine starting order in our 59 year history. IPU’s Engine Starting Division was awarded a bumper order for 14 hydraulic starting systems totaling £500,000. The order comprised of 14 6 x 50 litre hydraulic starting systems with solenoid and foot start valves for ExxonMobil in Malaysia. The project was completed in less than 3 months, despite the completion of 3 other Engine Starting projects taking place in the busy workshop. The initial launch is limited to a selection of fuel filtration products: Racor 1000FH turbine filters and 2020-series elements Racor 900FH turbine filters and 2040-series elements Racor 500FG turbine filters and 2010-series elements Racor FBO filter housings and elements “We know our prices are very competitive and we know we attract a lot of traffic to our website. Latest updates to G59 regulation (effective 1st Feb 2018)

The Association of Manufacturers and suppliers of Power Systems and ancillary equipment (AMPS) has released information on the latest updates to the UK Grid Connection Requirements. This affects all Non-Type Tested Generating Plants from 50Kw and above commissioned after 31st January 2018. The Distribution Code Review Panel has advised of the publication of a revised Distribution Code (V29) and a revised Engineering Recommendation G59/3-3. These take effect for all new Non-Type Tested Generating Plants commissioned from 1st February 2018.
