New brochure on IPU’s Diesel Defence filter elements

A new brochure does not normally warrant a news post but this one is a little bit different. Firstly, it is the first time we have produced a brochure about our filter elements. In the past, we have underplayed their role in our Diesel Defence fuel polishers and our ClearTank fuel cleaning service. Their unique and proprietary technology sets IPU’s capabilities above our competitors. IPU Group approved to run CIBSE CPD courses on fuel conditioning

IPU Group are set to run CPD (Continuing Professional Development ) courses after being approved by CIBSE1, the UK’s premier body for promoting and supporting the careers of building services engineers. Aimed at Facilities Management companies, our interactive course will train professionals on how to manage their stored fuel to ensure it is clean, safe and able to support the building it serves. IPU sells OilLife range of products to Wagene Purifiner in Norway

As of January 2019, IPU Group has sold it’s range of OilLife bypass filtration products to Wagene Purifiner in Norway. For several years, Wagene Purifiner has been IPU’s largest customers for the OilLife range. IPU has taken the decision to sell all stock and the rights and patent for OilLife to Wagene Purifiner so we can further focus on our key ranges and core markets. Held at The Midland Hotel, Manchester on Thursday 29th November, the AMPS Awards celebrated the best of the best in the UK diesel and gas engine power generation industry. IPU were shortlisted for 3 awards, more than any other company and scooped the top prize for the Innovation and Technology Award. IPU Group become OFTEC-certified

IPU are delighted to announce that four members of their fuel conditioning team have taken their OFTEC examinations and passed. OFTEC is the industry association that governs the inspection and certification of fuel pipework, storage and pumping systems. Every site that stores diesel needs an annual OFTEC inspection. IPU’s fuel team regularly services generator diesel tanks which are connected to buildings through their pipework infrastructure. We recently came across an article on Maritime Logistics Professional that echoed the same message IPU’s Fuel Conditioning division have been preaching for years: check your emergency fuel supplies.
