IPU's Quick Guide to ISO4406:2017

ISO4406:2017 is the universally used cleanliness code for measuring solid particulate content in diesel fuel. The codes are written as three numbers and are very complicated to decipher.

For this reason, IPU have published a Quick Guide to ISO4406:2017 to help you determine the impact of particulate contamination in your fuel. You can take measures to ensure your fuel falls within the 18/16/13 cleanliness standard set by the Worldwide Fuel Charter.
